Happy Nest Nanny and Maternity Agency are looking to recruit a dedicated nanny for a professional family in Alderley Edge. With a mature outlook to support a family with their delightful children aged 3 months & 7 years on a full time live out basis in Alderley Edge Cheshire

The ideal candidate will be flexible adaptable and discreet with a good amount of childcare experience both professionally and personally and be happy to work a mixture of sole and shared charge.

Nanny Duties:

Providing stimulating and fun educational activities during the day trips to the park days out. The eldest boy loves adventure and being outdoors so lots of trips to the park and imaginative play. Theres lots to do in the area with baby classes during the day for the younger boy.

Dad usually covers school drop off as. Mr 7 is at school at Kings so you will need to be a driver with your own car for pick up later in the afternoon. This is usually a good time to practice spellings or have a chat about how his day has been and make plans for some after school fun.

All nursery duties including meal prep childrens laundry taking care of Pe Kits School admin Wardrobe management organising party gifts and invitations and other school admin.

You will have prepared a meal for his dinner before pick up including fresh ingredients made from scratch. There will also be some homework to catch up with and take him to any after school activities.

Settling down for bath time and bedtime. The baby has had a maternity nurse since birth and has a great established routine so youll help keep that in place when the role starts.

This is a long term role in a happy relaxed household where youll be made to feel welcome as part of the family. Their current maternity nurse highly recommends the role.

Hours: a minimum of 40 hours per week 4 days per week typically 9am 7pm to include at least 2 weekends days per month. Either a Saturday or a Sunday. Occasional overnight stays

There may be additional hours needed for the nanny to travel with the family during holidays but notice will always be given in advance.

Salary : an excellent hourly rate depending on nannys experience in a similar role.

Essential Requirements :

Fully enhanced DBS (criminal record) check on the update service. Agency will assist

Full 12 hour Paediatric first aid certificate dated within the last 3 years.

Full UK Driving Licence with own car

Excellent Checkable references

Happy around animals as the family have a friendly Labrador.

At least 4 years experience working as a private nanny or as an experienced childcarer with early years experience.

Relevant childcare qualification.
