Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow development and customization, possess excellent problem-solving abilities, and demonstrate a deep understanding of IT service management processes. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet the organizations needs.
Key Responsibilities:
ServiceNow Development: Design, develop, and implement high-quality solutions on the ServiceNow platform, including configuration, scripting, and integration with other applications/systems.
Customization: Customize ServiceNow applications and modules according to the organizations requirements, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.
Integration: Integrate ServiceNow with other third-party applications and tools to streamline processes and enhance overall functionality.
Workflow Automation: Develop and implement workflow automation to optimize IT service management processes and improve efficiency.
Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow features, best practices, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to enhance existing systems and processes.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT operations, support, and development teams, to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including design specifications, configurations, and test plans, to ensure effective knowledge transfer and support ongoing maintenance activities.
Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to identify and address any issues or bugs before deployment, ensuring high-quality, reliable services for end-users.
Troubleshooting: Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve ServiceNow-related issues, collaborating with relevant teams to implement effective solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and customization.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certification is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT service management processes and best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and other web services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
